Call for Community Input on Panels for the OGP April 2012 Annual Meeting
On April 16-18 2012, the Open Government Partnership will hold its annual meeting in Brasilia, Brazil. Participants will include high-level representatives from 50 member governments, civil society, the private sector, and the media. At this meeting, all 42 new OGP member countries will present their country action plans, stakeholders will participate in thematic discussions around key open government challenges and innovations, and all participants will have the chance to input into OGP’s overall strategic vision for the coming two years.
I. Call for Community Input on Panel Topics for Official OGP Program
OGP would like to hear from YOU on what topics you would like to discuss at the April 2012 meeting. OGP is welcoming panel proposals from anyone in the global open government community who would like to send us your thoughts and ideas.

The OGP Support Unit and Steering Committee will weigh all of these suggestions heavily in the decision-making process for the April 2012 program.
Deadline for Submissions
The deadline for submissions is February 15, 2012.
Submission Guidelines:
- Panels should be no longer than 90 minutes
- They should include participants from various sectors wherever possible (e.g. government, civil society, academia, private sector, media)
- They should address themes that have relevance across countries and regions
II. OGP Side Event Proposals
The conference center where the OGP annual meeting will be held also has room for a small number of side events to be held concurrently with the official meeting program. OGP is therefore also taking proposals for side events that outside organizations would like to organize on site.
Groups selected to organize side events on site will be responsible for all planning and organization—OGP will simply provide a room in which the event can take place.
Please fill out this form below if you would like to organize a side event.
