Kitty von Bertele

Kitty joined the Support Unit in June 2015, on secondment from the UK government. She has spent the last four years working in the Cabinet Office, most recently in the transparency and open data team leading international and policy work. She was a senior policy adviser during the UK’s time as chair of OGP. Before that she worked for the Ministry of Justice. In her role with the Support Unit she will work closely with the Steering Committee and incoming OGP Ambassadors, supporting them to do more external outreach on behalf of OGP and ensuring more strategic links with other related global initiatives. Kitty has a BA in International History and Politics from the University of Leeds.
