Kyla Borden

My name is Kyla Borden and I’m a 4th year student at Carleton University studying Public Affairs and Policy Management with a Specialization in Communications and IT Policy (CITP)  with a minor in Law. I have a keen interest in the impacts that Canadian policy has on society, particularly the study of how policy affects depictions of visible minorities. I have 3 years of experience working in an Access to Information and Privacy Division for the federal Government of Canada, under my belt and I find the topic fascinating. Looking towards the future, I am eagerly anticipating graduating in the spring of 2017, and starting a new chapter in my life.
