Nuala Haughey

As of April 2017, Nuala Haughey is Communications Director with the Social Democrats. Previously, she was a project manager with TASC, an independent progressive think-tank whose core focus is economic equality and democratic accountability, and she was a researcher with Transparency International Ireland. Nuala was the project manager for the OGP Ireland consultations with citizens and civil society.  Nuala has extensive experience as a project manager and consultant for the European Commission and civil society groups in Ireland and overseas. Nuala was lead researcher and project manager on TI Ireland’s 2012 research, the National Integrity Systems Country Study Addendum. She is a former specialist reporter with The Irish Times.
