Amir Khan Goraya
Amir Khan Goraya is currently working as Assistant Country Director at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Pakistan. He is the head of democratic governance portfolio which covers technical assistance to the Parliament, Election Commission of Pakistan, Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform, Rule of Law and Provincial Governments. He has over 15 years of diverse experience in democratic governance, government relations, innovative regional partnerships and election observation. He has worked as a civil servant for the Government and Parliament of Pakistan, and has planned and managed donor funded projects on parliamentary strengthening, elections, devolution and citizen empowerment, anti-corruption and gender. Amir has authored and presented studies on Federalism, Democratic Stability, Leadership and Conflict Resolution.
