Andrea Rodríguez Cobos

Open Government Coordinator, Nuevo Leon State

Andrea joined the Citizen Participation Secretariat of the Government of the State of Nuevo Leon in June 2022. She coordinates the Open Government Action Plan 2022-2024 and the open government projects of the State. Before joining the Government of the State of Nuevo Leon, Andrea worked at the Executive Secretariat of the National Anticorruption System (SESNA) as a liaison with the Citizen Participation Committee, where she participated in the last process of electing the head of the institution. Andrea has also worked at the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information, and Protection of Personal Data (INAI), where she supported the design, management, and implementation of the Fourth National Open Government Action Plan in Mexico and the Local Co-creation Initiative focused on promoting Open Government at the subnational level in Mexico. Andrea holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Ibero-American University in Mexico City and has a specialization in Law and Diplomacy.
