Cassandra Etter-Wenzel

Cassie is the Outreach Coordinator for Climate Action & Data at WRI US. She supports international and domestic outreach on WRI US’s work with the Global Covenant of Mayors.

Prior to joining the World Resources Institute, Cassie served as an Obama Administration appointee in the Office of International Affairs at the Department of Energy and as an Assistant and Trade Association Coordinator at a prominent energy and environment firm, Van Ness Feldman. She also worked overseas in Akita, Japan through the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program, a competitive teaching exchange scheme managed by the government of Japan.

Cassie graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a dual degree in International Relations and Women’s and Gender History and a minor in Asian Studies.
