Jaime Mercado joined the Support Unit in March 2017 as a Governance Officer where he leads the engagement with the OGP Steering Committee, and coordinates Steering Committee and Subcommittee initiatives. Prior to OGP, Jaime worked as an international development consultant with a focus on open government and transparency programs for multiple international organizations, including the World Bank, the Organization of American States and the Transparency & Accountability Initiative. Jaime holds an MA in International Relations from the Barcelona Institute for International Studies (IBEI), and a BS in Criminology, Law and Society from George Mason University.
