Tamara Jobava

Tamara supports the development and delivery of communications strategies that highlight open government reforms, with a focus on civic engagement, transparency, and anti-corruption in OGP countries. She works closely with the team to produce stories, campaigns, and multimedia content that bring citizen voices to the forefront.Before joining OGP, Tamara worked with international organizations and civil society initiatives in Georgia, the Netherlands, and Belgium. Her background includes leading digital communications for democracy-focused NGOs, producing video campaigns, and building storytelling platforms that spotlight citizen resistance, youth participation, and local governance.Tamara studied tourism management and transitioned into policy communications during the pandemic. She is the co-founder of a grassroots initiative supporting civic education in rural Georgia and fostering democratic participation among Georgian emigrants.
