Wanda Tiefenbacher is Program Coordinator, Member Services, at the Open Government Partnership (OGP), where she develops services that help members advance open government reforms.

She translates OGP’s rules and strategic priorities into practical guidance and tools for members. She also designs how member support is delivered, with a focus on government and civil society practitioners’ needs and reliable support across different contexts.

Previously, Wanda was Senior Researcher and Project Manager at ETC Graz in Austria, which hosts a UNESCO Category 2 Centre for human rights. Her responsibilities included EU-funded project management, research for the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights, and leadership of Human Rights Go Local, an international academy and conference series on putting human rights into practice in local governance. Earlier, she was a Program Associate at the Center for Civic Education (CGO-CCE) in Montenegro, where she focused on human rights, civic participation, and European integration.

She holds master’s degrees in Political Sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and in Social Justice and Community Action from the University of Edinburgh, both in the United Kingdom.

She is based in Brussels, Belgium.
