Commitment description
What is the public problem that the commitment will address? The lack of complete data on candidates and political parties’ election campaigns financing creates conditions for violation of the election legislation regarding financing of elections, violates the principle of equality of all candidates, prevents conscious will of voters and undermines citizens' confidence in the election results.
What is the commitment? Publication of complete information on candidates and political parties’ campaign financing, including information on persons (organizations) contributing to election fund and expenditure items.
How will the commitment contribute to solve the public problem? Ensuring transparency in financing of election campaigns of candidates, political parties, initiative groups will help improve control over elections financing by citizens, create equal conditions for all candidates and political parties, ensure conscious will of voters and increase citizens' confidence in the election process.
Why is this commitment relevant to OGP values? Transparency: Citizens will get better access to information on the financing of the electoral process
