Commitment Title
2024 Accountability of the Autonomous Municipal Government of La Paz
Problem
Lack of awareness among citizens, social oversight representatives, neighborhood associations, and other social organizations regarding the actions, resources, and results of municipal management.
Status quo
There was a limited presence of citizens, representatives of social oversight bodies, representatives of neighborhood councils, and other social organizations at district hearings held in past years to present results by macro-district.
Action
Conduct a final accountability report for the 2024 administration, both in person and virtually, presenting the actions, resources, and results of municipal management in its various areas and macro-districts. This report aims to ensure institutional transparency and promote citizen trust, within the framework of current regulations.
How will the commitment contribute to solving the public problem described above?
The mayor and all authorities of the Autonomous Municipal Government of La Paz will hold a public presentation of all the results achieved by the municipality in 2024, both in person and virtually, which will increase citizen participation, including from social organizations and neighborhood councils. This event will be disseminated in advance and will require pre-registration of participants.
