Public monitoring of the implementation of the communal action plan (PAC)
Problem
The report on the monitoring of the implementation of the communal action plan is drawn up annually and made public in a public session of the communal council. A summary of the said report is also displayed at the headquarters of the commune. When updating the action plan, which occurs halfway through, we find that citizens have little information about the progress achieved.
Status quo
The communal action plan is a reference document for any development activities that the municipality intends to carry out or participate in during the term of the elected council. It is developed using a participatory approach, but the "collective" mechanisms for monitoring its implementation are still lacking.
Action
During the redesign of the municipality's web portal, a page will be intended for the entire process of participatory development of the municipal action plan, monitoring of its implementation, and updating. The page will allow reactive functionalities to carry out public consultation on this subject.

Improve citizen engagement in the territorial planning process from the participatory design phase, implementation and updating and final assessment.

This commitment aims to set up a platform allowing citizens to follow and react to the progress of the implementation of the action plan. Beyond the objectives of ensuring citizen participation in this process and engaging public responsibility, this tool will be used to increase citizen engagement in the planning phases and ownership of projects and planned actions.
