Commitment Title

Draft implementing regulations that increase the role of organised civil society in the public decision-making processes of the Generalitat

Problem

Citizen entities need to be assured of the right to have a decision-making role in public policy decision-making. To achieve this, it is essential that they can find their representation in advisory bodies or advisory councils, through specific and established legislative regulation.

Status quo

Enact regulations to implement articles 29.2, 30.3 and Final Provision 1.1 of Law 4/2023 of the Generalitat Valenciana, on Civic Participation and the Promotion of Associations, to ensure that civil society organisations play a greater role in the Civic Participation Council.

Action

The implementation of the commitment will enable regulatory implementation that increases the role of organised civil society in the public decision-making processes of the Generalitat.

The final output is expected to be the entry into force of the implementing regulations.
