Clorinda joined OGP in May 2022 as a Program Officer for OGP Local to support the Americas region, create a new approach to the capacity-building program for local reformers, and enhance the creation of a local community of practice around open government.

Previously, she co-founded Pase Usted, a Mexican NGO committed to spreading ideas and proposals to open a plural and inclusive discussion around the most relevant issues in the national agenda. In 2012, she joined Mexico City’s Government as part of the team founding the basis of the Laboratory for the City (Laboratorio para la Ciudad), the city’s government experimental arm, where she served as Executive Director of Planning and Creative Strategy. Before joining OGP, she worked as a consultant for international organizations and state governments in Mexico on the creation of participatory mechanisms for public policy development. 

Clorinda studied Architecture at the Universidad Iberoamericana. She is based in Mexico City.
