Emilene Martinez

Emilene Martínez Morales worked with Open Government Partnership from 2012-2020 as a Senior Regional Coordinator for the Americas. In her role, she focuses on supporting civil society organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean. She holds a BA in International Relations and an MA in International Studies from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. Since 2001, she has worked with a number of institutions, including the National Security Archive at the George Washington University; Fundar Center for Research and Analysis; the Council for Transparency in Chile; the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education; and the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE). As a consultant she has worked for Global Financial Integrity, the World Bank Institute, El Economista and The Carter Center.
