Emilene Martinez

Emilene Martínez Morales joined the Open Government Partnership in September 2012. In her role, she focuses on supporting civil society organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean. She holds a BA in International Relations and an MA in International Studies from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. Since 2001, she has worked with a number of institutions, including the National Security Archive at the George Washington University; Fundar Center for Research and Analysis; the Council for Transparency in Chile; the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education; and the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE). As a consultant she has worked for Global Financial Integrity, the World Bank Institute, El Economista and The Carter Center.
