Imani Trusty

Imani is a fourth year undergraduate student studying Communications and Media Studies Honours at Carleton University and will graduate in the Spring of 2019. Prior to the class, she hadn’t heard about the Open Government Partnership and its initiatives. Throughout the course she has been introduced to an array of topics, including civic participation. Exploring how to engage immigrants in open government is important to her, as she immigrated to Canada with her mother when she was three years old.
