Marianne Fabian is the Lead Technical Secretariat and Point of Contact (POC) of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) for the Philippines. The OGP is a global initiative that promotes transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in governance. As POC, she is closely working with high level government officials and key leaders from non-government organizations (i.e. civil society, academe, business groups, etc) to push forward game-changing governance reforms in the country. As the Lead Technical Secretariat of the PH-OGP, she also takes a lead role in the conduct of all activities related to the development and implementation of Philippine OGP National Action Plans. On top of her OGP portfolio, Marianne also serves as the lead technical secretariat for the Philippine government’s Participatory Governance Cluster of the Cabinet (PGC) and spearheads activities related to the development, updating and implementation of the PGC Performance and Projects Roadmap 2017-2022. She is also actively engaged in promoting and monitoring fiscal transparency reforms in the public sector.
