Natalia Carfi works at the Subsecretariat for Public Innovation and Open Government under Argentina’s Ministry for Modernization, where she coordinates the open government agenda and is OGP’s Point of Contact.
In 2015, she participated in the drafting of the International Open Data Charter and led an assessment of the Regional Conference for Open Data in Latin America and the Caribbean (Condatos). Prior to that, she was Open Government Coordinator at the Innovation Lab of the City of Buenos Aires and Citizen Participation at the Ministry of the General Secretariat of Chile’s Presidency, where she was in charge of open data initiatives and of coordinating the Open Government Round Table. From 2011 to 2014, she was Director for Institutional Strengthening and Legislative Modernization at the legislature of Buenos Aires, which is in charge of cooperation and openness.
