Sabina Bellotti

Sabina holds a degree in Sociology and a Master’s in Public Administration Organization. She has had a long and distinguished career as a public officer, including her tenure at the Italian Prime Minister’s Office – Public Administration Department, where she served from 1998 to 2024.

Throughout her career, Sabina has held various leadership and representational roles at both national and international levels. Her work has encompassed participation in committees, task forces, and European networks dedicated to modernizing the public sector and enhancing the quality of public services.

From 2021 to 2024, Sabina was a member of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Steering Committee, representing the Government of Italy. She also served as the government co-chair from 2022 to 2023.

This year, OGP will also develop a new strategy for the growing Partnership. It is a singular opportunity to apply the lessons learned over the past ten years. We must collectively contribute to tackling the major challenges facing our societies from declining democracy and civic space, to equitable pandemic recovery.
