Jolien van der Vaart

Communications Officer at Hivos Global Office

Jolien van der Vaart is the communications officer of the Open Up Contracting team at Hivos Global Office (The Hague), where she sees to it that communication is used strategically and contributes to better program results. She previously held different positions with international human rights NGOs. She has a bachelor’s degree in History from Utrecht University and a master’s degree in International Peace Studies from Trinity College Dublin.
