A key part of anti-corruption involves preventing or revealing conflicts of interest — when a public official is in a position to use public office for personal or private gain.

Technical specifications: Address measures to prevent or reveal public officer conflicts of interest (i.e. when a public official is in a position to use public office for personal or private gain) as well as related systems of oversight. This refers to (but is not limited to) various public ethics rules and regulations including codes of conduct, revolving door policies, conflict of interest rules, gift and hospitality disclosure rules, and employment cooling off periods.
