Joko is a steering council Bojonegoro Institute, a local NGO in Bojonegoro, Indonesia, focused on asissting local government to get maximize benefit from extractive industries processed. Formerly, he was Executive Director of the Institute Bojonegoro, and member of PWYP Indonesia. Joko has led several projects that produce innovation trough extractive industries in sub national level, such as oil and gas transparency mechanism, local conten regulation, distribution of revenue from oil and gas to the villages level and the petroleum fund. He was also former of civil society representatives on the EITI Implementation Team Indonesia. Early 2014, Joko start to recognize OGP platform into Bojonegoro local government and civil society. Through this platform, Bojonegoro local government start to produce innovations on several issued, such as open contracting data and data revolution. In the next phase, this effort bring Bojonegoro local government into 1 of 15 subnational piloting on OGP.
