On March 28, 2025, the public accountabilityAccording to OGP’s Articles of Governance, public accountability occurs when ”rules, regulations, and mechanisms in place call upon government actors to justify their actions, act upon criticisms ... More report for the 2024 administration was presented. The Mayor, Municipal Secretaries, Deputy Mayors, and other municipal authorities participated, along with neighborhood associations, social oversight committees, and various members of civil society.
The Mayor and other authorities presented a comprehensive overview of the work carried out by the municipality in its different departments, highlighting projects, services, budget execution, and other relevant information.
1.2 Describe the main external or internal factors that impacted implementation of this commitment and how they were addressed (or not).
The institutional coordination of the authorities and the collaborative work with neighborhood associations and social oversight bodies made it possible to carry out the accountability report for the 2024 administration. This event was held in person at the La Paz City Hall and was also streamed virtually for those who could not attend. It was broadcast via social media.

All of the commitment milestones were implemented as planned

Through the Mayor’s office, all the information from the different areas of the municipality was compiled to prepare the presentation. This was followed by publicity for the event, pre-registration of participants, and the accountability event itself, concluding with the signing of the closing minutes.
