Action

– Improve the tools that the municipal government already has to support entrepreneurs, carrying out the necessary procedures to start a business, and obtaining benefits and training.- Greater dissemination and use of channels, tools, programs, and projects dedicated to supporting entrepreneurship.- Strengthening and professionalization of entrepreneurs in the Municipality of Chihuahua and creating more economic spaces that generate added value to their proposals.

Problem

As a result of the public survey and the working groups with specialists in the field, it is concluded that one of the biggest problems in the sector is the disengagement of the government with all the sectors involved, as well as the existing support for new companies or the strengthening of existing ones.

1.2 Describe the main external or internal factors that impacted implementation of this commitment and how they were addressed (or not).

External:
● The start of the plan’s implementation coincided with the election period, which caused some of the activities to be delayed.
● As the commitments involve the development of web platforms, part of the process depends on personnel outside the Open Government Promotion Group.

Internal:
● The start of the plan’s implementation coincided with a change in leadership at the guarantor body and in the Transparency Coordination Office, which caused some of the promotion group’s sessions to be more spaced out.

All of the commitment milestones were implemented as planned
