OGP Local Commuity

The OGP Local Circles are communities of practice open to everyone, led by OGP Local members to exchange lessons, knowledge, and inspiration to accelerate the progress of open government reforms. The Circles address key themes relevant to local government from members who are already applying innovative open government solutions to challenges in their communities.

OGP Local Deep Dives are in-depth webinars that focus on a theme to provide nuanced information on the topic. They seek to support reformers in co-creating, implementing, and evaluating ambitious open government commitments. These sessions also help connect reformers with global partners and resources.

Designed to mimic the informal, social dynamics of an office coffee break in a virtual setting, Coffee Conversations provide a space to exchange tacit knowledge, build relationships, and promote collaboration among peers.

As part of OGP’s engagement with the open government community through regional and global events, OGP Local hosts high-level roundtables. Following these meetings, OGP Local produces outcome documents to summarize progress on open government reforms, open government trends at the local level, challenges, and the road ahead.
