Cinthya Alvarado

Researcher, Article 19 Mexico and Central America

Cinthya Alvarado is researcher at the Access to Information program in ARTICLE 19 Mexico and Central America Office, where she plans and implements activities to promote the right to information, freedom of expresión and issues related to proactive transparency, the right to truth, accountability and open government to guarantee the exercise of other rights. She has a bachellor’s degree in Law from the Universidad Iberoamericana and postgraduate studies in Gender and Law from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. She has previously worked defending human rights in different non-governmental organizations, mainly focused on social rights and grave violations.
