Ireland End-of-Term Report 2014-2016 – For Public Comment

In 2017, the Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) published the end of term report for Ireland’s first action plan. The report covers the full action plan implementation period of 1 July 2014 through 30 June 2016.

In Ireland, the findings from the IRM researcher, Raj Chari of Trinity College Dublin, are summarized below:

“At the end of its first action plan cycle, 87% of Ireland’s commitments were complete or achieved substantial progress. Moving forward, priority should be given to establishing a permanent group to oversee the implementation of the next action plan.”

The version of the report for public comment is available in English below. The two-week public comment period closed Friday 7 July 2017.
