Ireland End-of-Term Report 2014-2016

In 2017, the Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) published the end of term report for Ireland’s first action plan. The report covers the full action plan implementation period of 1 July 2014 through 30 June 2016.

In Ireland, the findings from the IRM researcher, Raj Chari of Trinity College Dublin, are summarized below:

“At the end of its first action plan cycle, 87% of Ireland’s commitments were complete or achieved substantial progress. Moving forward, priority should be given to establishing a permanent group to oversee the implementation of the next action plan.”

The final version of the report is available below. The two-week public comment period closed Friday 7 July 2017.
