Denmark End-of-Term Report 2014-2016

In 2017, the Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) published the end of term report for Denmark’s second action plan. The report covers the full action plan implementation period of October 2013 through June 2016.

In Denmark, the IRM researcher the IRM researcher Mads Kæmsgaard Eberholst report’s findings are summarized below:

“To raise the impact of OGP in Denmark, the government can broaden the inclusivity of the OGP process and deepen in-person engagement with a more diverse group of stakeholders. Future action plans may include commitments regarding political party financing, lobbying regulations and access to information reforms.”

And in Danish:

“For at øge effekten af OGP i Danmark kan regeringen udvide inklusionen af OGP-processen og det fysiske engagement ved at involvere en mere alsidig interessentgruppe. Fremtidige handlingsplaner kan inkludere forpligtelser vedrørende finansiering af politiske partier, regulering af lobbyarbejde og reformer om adgang til information.”
