Lithuania End-of-Term Report 2014-2016

In late 2016, the Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) published the end of term report for Lithuania’s second action plan. The report evaluates the full action plan implementation period of 1 July 2014 through 30 June 2016.

Karolis Granickas, an independent researcher wrote this report. His findings are summarized below:

Lithuania made progress towards implementing the majority of its commitments. However, implementation has not translated into changes in government practice. Going forward, the government could continue its efforts to intensify collaboration with civil society to develop more measurable and ambitious commitments.

And in Lithuanian:

The final report is available. The two-week public comment period closed on 14 February 2017.
