Oversight of surveillance: This report outlines steps governments can take to improve public oversight of surveillance technologies, based on the experiences and standards across a range of OGP countries.

Democratic Resilience

Countering illiberal influences: OGP and the National Democratic Institute (NDI) produced a series of policy briefs identifying concrete measures that governments can use to build resilience against covert, foreign-sponsored influences, including briefs on foreign political finance, foreign debt opacity, and foreign-sponsored disinformation.

Digital Governance

Algorithmic accountability: OGP collaborated with the Ada Lovelace Institute and AI Now Institute to publish the first global analysis of the initial wave of algorithmic accountability policy in the public sector.

Data protection: This analysis gives an overview of the current state of data protection in the Africa region and provides recommendations to strengthen regulations.
