Propose a talk on Empowering Citizens for the OGP Summit Speakers’ Stand

Tim Hughes|

With the OGP Summit rapidly approaching, we’re looking for people interested in giving quick fire talks on empowering citizens at the Speakers’ Stand in the Summit’s Festival space.

During the Festival portions of the Summit the Speakers’ Stand will host quick fire talks on each of the themes of the Summit: open data, government integrity, fiscal transparency, resource transparency and empowering citizens.

We, at Involve, have been asked to organise and facilitate the session on empowering citizens, which will take place on the second day of the Summit (Friday 1 November) from 1pm to 2pm. So, we’re looking for people propose quick talks (3 to 5 minutes) on a project, issue, challenge, question, concern or inspiration linked to empowering citizens.

If you would like to propose a talk, please complete the form below or email tim@involve.org.uk with a short description (max 50 words) of your talk by the end of Thursday (24 October 2013). Please be aware that, depending on the level of interest, it may be that we can’t fit everybody in – though we’ll do our best to include as many people as possible.

Looking forward to receiving lots of exciting ideas. Submit them here.
