The OGP Status Dashboard is a biannual update of technical information provided by the OGP Support Unit and Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) and is intended to help OGP stakeholders stay up to date on official decisions and technical aspects of action plans and reporting.

Between the two editions of the OGP Status Dashboard, you can find updates regarding OGP action plans and IRM reports on the OGP member pages. You can also subscribe to the monthly OGP Newsletter and follow OGP on social media for important updates, events, publication launches, blogs, and more.

IRM Reports and Briefs

The Independent Reporting Mechanism (IRM) is a key means by which all stakeholders can track OGP progress in participating countries. The IRM produces the following for each country participating in OGP: a Co-Creation Brief; an Action Plan Review; and a Results Report.

OGP National Members

OGP national members submit action plans, co-created with civil society, that outline concrete commitments to enhance open government. Below are the statuses of national cohorts currently implementing and co-creating action plans for 2024.

Countries and Members Under Procedural Review, Inactive or Suspended or Withdrawn from OGP

Countries not complying with OGP for two cycles undergo Procedural Review by the Criteria & Standards (C&S) Subcommittee, receiving enhanced support to resolve issues. If no action plan is delivered for three consecutive years, the Subcommittee may recommend “inactive” status to the Steering Committee. Inactivity may also be recommended for repeated non-compliance.
